The company was created to bring together years of practical experience in C&I solar into a clean, scalable structure suitable for institutional capital and project finance. Unlike pure developers who originate and sell projects, or pure operators who manage assets they do not own, Arclight sits in the middle of the value chain: we originate, construct, own and operate.
The platform is organised around a holding company that owns ring-fenced special purpose vehicles. Each project portfolio is held in its own SPV, allowing clear separation of assets, cash flows, security packages and financing. Equity and strategic oversight remain at the platform level — supporting efficient project-level debt and growth under consistent commercial and technical standards.
Our focus is commercial and industrial offtakers — institutions, educational campuses, research organisations and corporates — that value long-term price certainty and documented renewable supply. We prioritise counterparty quality, contract tenor and execution control over pure volume.

The Arclight platform is grounded in practical experience of developing, owning and operating commercial and industrial solar assets in India.
The team has previously delivered and operated C&I rooftop projects across several states, working with institutional offtakers and established lenders. This experience covers the full cycle: origination and contracting, construction, commissioning, performance management and collections.
The two variables that most affect long-term equity returns in contracted solar — energy yield relative to forecast and the reliability of collections — can only be tested in real operation. The platform's approach to screening, contracting and asset management is informed by that experience.
We treat the ability to run assets well over many years as a core capability, not a secondary function.

Arclight is led by a team with direct experience across solar development, project structuring, construction oversight and asset operations.
The leadership group combines operational familiarity with the C&I segment and an understanding of institutional capital and project finance requirements. Day-to-day development, delivery and operations are supported by functional teams covering engineering, project management, finance and offtaker relationships.
The platform is intentionally structured so that equity ownership, strategic direction and operational accountability sit together. This alignment is central to how the company is managed.
